The ENTER LIVE EVENT button will appear 24 hours before your event begins.

LIVESTREAMING YOUR CLASS

On the day of your event, just press the ENTER LIVE EVENT button. Double check that your equipment is connected connected properly in the Device Check window.

In the Device Check window, you can preview and verify that your devices are connected and functioning properly. Then click "Looks great, let's cook" to continue to the producer environment.

In your test session, this producer environment behaves the same way as a live environment. See below for more features.

TESTING WITH A FRIEND

If you would like to test with a friend, just click COPY TEST LINK TO CLIPBOARD. Once logged in, they can join your live test session. Don't forget to press GO LIVE so that others can join you in the session.

NOTE:

Only people with the test link can join this test session. Test sessions do not affect live events in any way.

Chibo Live Interface

So now you're LIVE. How does this all work?

When you're ready to stream, press GO LIVE. Participants will not be able to attend your live class until you press this button.

Once you're Live, participants can join your class. Participants can see and hear you at all times unless you MUTE your AUDIO / VIDEO.

SWITCHING CAMERA VIEWS

Connect up to 5 cameras to provide different camera angles during class. Each camera connected will be tied to one of the number keys between 1 and 5 on your keyboard. To switch camera angles just press one of the number keys on your keyboard.

ACTIVELY TALKING

Participants can speak up at any time by pressing the microphone button. This allows them to go live for 45 seconds, and all audience members can hear. They'll appear under ACTIVELY TALKING.

IN QUEUE

Only one participant can be live at a time. If multiple people try to speak up at the same time, they'll be placed IN QUEUE.

AUDIENCE

Your attendees will appear in the AUDIENCE section. To help with microphone management, everyone's mic is automatically muted by default.

DEMOTE

If an audience member has finished speaking and has some distracting background noise, you can mute their mic and push them back to the AUDIENCE by clicking the DEMOTE button by their name

REFRESH

Sometimes issues with participant's internet connection can cause video and audio to unsync. This can easily be fixed by refreshing the browser. The REFRESH button is like a remote control to refresh that person's browser window for them

CLEAR QUEUE

If you have a bunch of people in queue and want to finish a step before you answer questions you can press the CLEAR QUEUE button to automatically send everyone in the QUEUE back to the AUDIENCE. Just be sure to let everyone know that you did it!

BEGIN BREAK

The BEGIN BREAK button sends a prompt to all participants to ask if they're ready to move on. If a participant presses NO, it will alert you that they need more time.

RECIPE STEPS

Once you submit your class details, we'll upload your recipe steps into Chibo so that you and your audience have easy access to your recipe during class.

You can click to highlight to the audience which step you're currently working on.

TIPS
